Integration of YouTube videos (two-click solution)
1. Type and scope of data processing We embed videos from the "YouTube" platform on our website. The service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
For data protection reasons, we use a so-called two-click solution. When you simply visit our pages, no data is transmitted to YouTube by default, and no connection to Google`s servers is established. Instead of the video, only a blocked placeholder is displayed. The video is only loaded after you actively give your consent by clicking the "Load video" button. At that moment, a connection to YouTube`s servers is established. This involves transmitting at least your IP address and information about which of our pages you are currently visiting to Google. Furthermore, the video is accessed via the privacy-compliant domain youtube-nocookie.com, which prevents the setting of marketing cookies before the video is played. If you are simultaneously logged into your YouTube account, Google can associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile.
2. Purpose and legal basis The integration of the videos serves the purpose of making visual content directly accessible to you on our site and making our online offering engaging. The legal basis for this data processing is your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG, which you provide by clicking the load button.
3. Storage of consent (use of cookies) To ensure you do not have to provide consent again for every single video while using our website, we store your decision after the click in a technically necessary first-party cookie (video_consent) in your browser. This cookie stores only the status of your consent ("true") and has a lifespan of 30 days. No personal data or profiles are collected by us in this process.
4. Third-country transfer: By activating the video, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google Ireland Limited relies on the EU Commission`s Standard Contractual Clauses to guarantee an adequate level of data protection. 5. Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the cookie.
